I offer a free home visit to all new pupils if needed, regardless of age or experience. This gives us an opportunity to get to know each other and for me to find out about your driving experience so far, so that we can discuss your training needs.
In line with our own safeguarding procedures, if you are under the age of 21 and still live at home, a parent or guardian will need to be present at your home visit.
One and a half-hour (90 minutes) driving lessons are £58. I recommend that sessions are booked in one and a half-hour slots in order to maximise driving and learning time. In exceptional circumstances, (subject to availability) I may be able to offer one-hour lessons, but these will be charged at £40. You have the option to either book one lesson at a time, or you can book and pay for several lessons upfront - the choice is yours. I can offer lessons to drivers of all abilities, from complete beginners to full licence holders looking for refresher courses.
I can support all learners through their driver theory test with suggested reading materials and practical experience. Driving theory is a vital part of learning to drive and the more practice you get at linking theory to practice the better. I can also support pupils with understanding the "show me, tell me" questions required during the practical driving test. These areas will be covered throughout our sessions together and not as an afterthought to get you through the tests.
My car is available for driving tests for all pupils that have received tuition from me. Unfortunately, I cannot offer my car for tests unless you have booked lessons with me and I have assessed your driving ability myself. Please see my terms and conditions for more information about driving tests.
